At 10:46 PM Sunday night Binghamton Police responded to a reported stabbing at 167 Main Street.  According to police reports officers found a male victim who had sustained nonlife threatening stab wounds to his chest.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated and released.  His identity has not been revealed.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a light-skinned black male, 5' 8", 20 years of age and thin in stature.  The suspect was wearing a blue shirt, shorts and sneakers.  He was last seen heading in the direction of Laurel Avenue.
