Binghamton Stabbing Charges Dropped
A Binghamton man is cleared of charges in a stabbing that happened on Walnut Street a year and a half ago.
Evan Rodriguez has been found not guilty of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the November 18, 2911 wounding of 28 year old Jonathan Hernandez.
Investigators had claimed Rodriguez stabbed Hernandez twice in the chest during a dispute over a woman.
Hernandez was treated at a local hospital.
Following four days of testimony, a Broome County jury deliberated three and a half hours before delivering the not guilty verdicts on all counts.
