Binghamton Senators Try To Increase Division Lead
The Binghamton Senators are one point ahead of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the East Division of the American Hockey League. The B-Sens are four points up on Norfolk. Binghamton has played one less game than both of those teams as they head into this weekend's action.
The B-Sens finished last weekend with a bang as they defeated the Norfolk Admirals twice in Norfolk...both key games in the division race. This weekend has Binghamton hosting the Winnipeg Jets affiliate, the St. John's IceCaps at 7:05 PM Friday. St. John's is in second place in the Atlantic Division with 86 points and is 9-1-0-0 over the last ten games.
Binghamton heads up Route 81 to Syracuse to face the Crunch on Saturday night in a 7 PM draw. So far so good for the B-Sens versus the Crunch as Binghamton has seven wins in nine meetings. Then on Sunday in a 3 PM battle the B-Sens travel to Albany to meet the Devils. Binghamton has captured three wins in five meetings versus Albany so far this season.
