It was; more than filing taxes giving both Binghamton and Utica hockey fans anxiety on tax day.

The Binghamton Senators began the last week of the American Hockey League's regular season by hosting the Utica Comets April 15 at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

Utica is the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks.  In the last meeting between the two clubs the B-Sens won in a shootout 3-2 last Saturday night.

The latest contest was no less wild with the lead swing back and fourth through both halves ending with overtime again.

The B-Sens again come out on top 6-5.

It was a big day for the B-Sens.  Beginning at 11 AM and continuing until 3:00 PM the B-Sens and Broome-Tioga Workforce hosted a Career Fair at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

Binghamton travels to April 17 and then closes out the season by hosting the Rochester Americans at 7:05 on April 18.

Saturday is Fan Appreciation Night with a number of prizes given out and the Player Award ceremonies scheduled prior to the opening faceoff.
