The Binghamton Senators resume action tonight at 7:05 when they host the rival Hershey Bears at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Both teams are members of the American Hockey League's East Division.  Heading into tonight's game the Senators are in second place in the division with 35 points...two points behind first place Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.  The Bears are in fourth place with 29 points.

Tonight marks the seventh of ten regular season meetings between the  teams with Hershey winning the last two outings. Tonight's game will be the only home game for the B-Sens until the traditional New Year's Eve game when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 6:05 PM.

Hershey is paced by Brandon Segal with four goals and 12 assists for 16 points.  Goaltender David Leggio is 7-8-2 with a goals against average of 2.84.  Leggio has played in 17 games this season.

Binghamton is led in scoring by Mike Hoffman with 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points.  That puts him third in scoring in the AHL.  Goaltender Nathan Lawson sports a goals against average of 2.42.  His record stands at 9-4-0.
