Tonight's batte pits the top two teams in the East Division against each other. Binghamton is 29-15-1-3 for 62 points while the Penguins are 28-16-2-3 with 61 points. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has won two of three meetings so far this season. They will square off a total of eight times before the regular campaign comes to a close.

Tomorrow night the B-Sens host the Worcester Sharks for the second of two meetings between the two clubs in the 2013-14 season.  Binghamton won the initial meeting 6-3 in Worcester last month.

Tonight, the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST) is teaming up with the Binghamton Senators on Do It For Daron Night.  Fans are encouraged to wear purple to show support for promoting youth mental health and well-being.  Do It For Daron was founded in memory of the late Daron Richardson who lost her life to suicide in 2010.  Her favorite color was purple.  Daron was the daughter of B-Sens coach Like Richardson.  The first 1,000 fans in attendance tonight will receive a purple D.I.F.D. rally towel.
