The Binghamton Senators host the Hershey Bears February 20 at 7:05 p.m.  at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The B-Sens are partnering with the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST)  and Do It For Daron (DIFD) to raise awareness and show support for youth mental health.

Fans are asked to wear purple to the game on Power to the People Night in a unified show of support to promote mental well-being among youth.

Do It For Daron was created in memory of Daron Richardson, the 14 year-old daughter of Binghamton head coach Luke Richardson, who lost her life to suicide in November 2010.  Daron's favorite color was purple.

There will be a number of ways fans can help along with dressing in purple.  Advance tickets are available for $15 through the B-Sens Executive Office by mentioning the code "DIFD".  Two dollars from each ticket sold through this offer will go to MHAST to help  their programs support youth mental health. There will be a DIFD Raffle Ticket Table in the concourse and select players will have their jersey auctioned off online.
