The Binghamton Senators dropped a 5-3 decision to the Syracuse Crunch tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  The fifth goal was scored into an empty net after the B-Sens pulled goaltender Ben Bishop for an extra attacker.

Syracuse jumped out to a 3-0 advantage on a goal from defenseman Radko Gudas mid-way through the second period.  Binghamton battled back with a goal from forward Stephane Da Costa to cut the Crunch lead to two goals.  But J.T.Brown scored on a power-play early in the third period to make it it a 4-1 Crunch lead.  The Sens cut the lead to just one goal with  tallies from Jakob Silfverberg and Jean-Gabriel Pageau but the Crunch added the empty-netter from Mike Angelidis to cap the scoring and insure the win.

Dustin Tokarski got the win in goal for the Crunch making 17 saves while Ben Bishop stopped 39 of 43 shots in net for the Sens.
