The Binghamton Senators took the Syracuse Crunch to overtime before dropping a 5-4 decision at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  Binghamton used three goals in the third period to come from behind and take a 4-3 lead but a Mike Blunden goal tied it for the Crunch and set the stage for overtime.

In OT Jonathan Marchessault scored the game-winner with under 12 seconds left to play.  Peter Mannino made 41 saves in goal for the B-Sens.  Matt Puempel scored one goal and notched an assist for a two-point game for Binghamton. Brad Mills added two assists for the B-Sens.

Binghamton hits the road for three straight games beginning with a visit to Portland January 7 at 7 p.m.
