The Binghamton Senators defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 5-4 tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  With the victory the B-Sens clinch first place in the East Division of the American Hockey League.  Binghamton now has 94 points...two more than the Pens.  Both teams have one game remaining in the regular season.  Wilkes-Barre/Scranton travels to Utica tomorrow night while the B-Sens host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05.

Even if the Penguins win tomorrow night and the B-Sens lose tie-breaking criteria gives Binghamton the title.  It is the first East Division crown for the B-Sens since the 2004-05 campaign.

Prior to tomorrow night's game Binghamton will hold its Player Awards and Community Awards presentations.  Awards include the B-Sens' Most Valuable Player , Top Defenseman and Rookie of the Year.  Community Awards include the Win Warner Award, Hans Petersen Award and Bob Carr Award.

During the first and second intermissions qualifying Chuck-A-Puck contestants from throughout the season will have the opportunity to select a potential winning key that could win them a new Toyota from Jack Sherman Toyota.
