Two Binghamton women are facing charges following an investigation into heroin sales in Binghamton by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Vestal and Binghamton Police Departments.

23 year old Adisa Charles and 21 year old Bethany Kasson, who share an apartment on Yager Street, are each charged with two counts of drug possession with the intent to sell, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Officials say a search of the apartment turned up 96 packets of heroin, 5 packaged pieces of crack cocaine, marijuana, scales, drug paraphernalia and two-thousand, seven-hundred, eighty dollars in cash.

The women were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
