Officials connected with Binghamton's 11th  Restaurant Week report that it was the most successful one to date.  Binghamton Restaurant Week wrapped up on April 2.  According to figures released there were 21,164 meals sold with $10,582 donated to Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club.

Since the start of Binghamton Restaurant Week, more than 159,000 meals have been served bringing in over $2.5 million in sales revenue.  In the first year Binghamton Restaurant Week had five restaurants participate.  Now 30 independently owned restaurants take part.

Organizers have confirmed that this fall's Binghamton Restaurant Week will be  held September 15 through the 24th.  Participating restaurants offer lunch and dinner specials.  Lunch specials are designed to be $12 or under and dinner specials are priced at $25 or less.  Restaurants then turn over a portion of the proceeds to participating non-profit organizations.
