While hundreds of diners have been enjoying amazing food a huge discount, there is more than just food to take in.

At a recent trip to Tranquil on Pine Street Binghamton, our helpful and cheerful waitress Masha pointed out the dozens of paintings and prints lining the long wall of the dining area.

She told us that periodically, local artists come to the restaurant and show samples of their work with the hope of being featured on the wall for diners to see and possibly buy.

We were very impressed by the simply executed but yet complex pieces we saw on display before Masha Karlgut, with a bit of pride, told us they were her works!

What a joy!

Masha gave us permission to take a photograph that we happily told her we would post on our blog.
