Binghamton Restaurant Week Benefits Charities

Organizers of the fall Binghamton Restaurant Week say the event that drew thousands of diners to Binghamton restaurants with the lure of discount-priced lunch and dinner menus has raised thousands for local charities.

Restaurant week wrapped up at the end of last month.

$20,647 meals were sold and $10,323 was donated to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse and The Animal Care Council.

Spring Restaurant week is scheduled for March 15 through the 24, 2016.
