Binghamton Restaurant Week is underway with 35 restaurants participating.  Restaurants are offering lunch and dinner specials.  My wife Beth and I visited Burger Mondays, 23 Henry Street, Binghamton for an opportunity to dine for dinner last night (Tuesday night) to kickoff Restaurant Week.

Let me start by saying that I love beef.  We both had a chance to enjoy dinner specials offered by Burger Mondays for Restaurant Week.

Beth started off with their British Tomato Soup.  I had a taste, too.  It was wonderful and a perfect way to begin the meal.  I opened with their Tortilla Chips with House Made Salsa. The salsa had a little kick to it and was very good.

For our second course Beth had The Classic Burger with aged cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion.  Delicious !   My second course was their Steak Sandwich. This consists of a Black Angus rib eye, with carmelized onion, smoked bacon spread and swiss cheeese. It was cooked perfectly and the carmelized onion really gave it a delightful flavor.

For dessert we each had a special.  Mine was their Goat Cheese & Greek Yogurt Whip, Wild Berry Compote, Candied Nut Crumble.  Very good !   Beth had the Fresh Cherry & Ginger Tart. The ginger topped it off in delicious fashion.

Overall, we had a very nice time.  Our server, Johnny was superb.  I am excited to return again soon and try other items on the Binghamton Restaurant Week menu !
