Binghamton Purse Snatchers Sought

Binghamton Police are looking for suspects in a couple purse snatching incidents at supermarkets in the city.

Detectives say a woman shopping at the Weis Market on Pennsylvania Avenue and a woman shopper at the Price Chopper on Glenwood Avenue both recently had their pocketbooks taken.

Police say a woman was taped by a surveillance camera trying to use a stolen credit card at a Mirabito convenience store and a man was filmed at the Leroy Package Store, trying to use a stolen debit card.
