Binghamton Police Seek Suspect In Theft

City police are trying to track down a man in connection with a burglary on Binghamton’s West Side.

Authorities say a purse was stolen from a residence during a July 19 burglary.

Investigators say a man used a credit card that had been in the purse a few minutes later at a nearby convenience store.

Police have released a surveillance video of the the suspect in the store:

Anyone with information about the man’s identity may contact the police detective division at 607.772.7080.
