Detectives trying to track down a man suspected of robbing two Binghamton businesses have released video and audio of one of the heists.

City police want people to check out the video and audio clip of the March 11 robbery at Court Street Fuel Stop at 210 Court Street.

The business was robbed around 10:25 p.m. by a man wearing a ski mask and sunglasses. He displayed what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband.

Ten days later, on March 21, a man matching the description of the suspect in the first heist robbed the Smokers Choice store at 42 Pennsylvania Avenue. In that incident, the robber indicated he was armed with a handgun but no weapon was seen.

Investigators say they believe the same man robbed both businesses. Anyone with information may contact the Detective Bureau at 607.772.7080.
