Binghamton Police Investigating South Side Burglaries

City police say several home burglaries and car break-ins have been reported on Binghamton’s South Side in recent days.

Investigators say most of the incidents have happened starting after 10 p.m. and have occurred through the early-morning hours.

Police are reminding city residents to lock doors and windows. Valuable items should not be left in vehicles.

Officials are encouraging residents to promptly report suspicious people or crimes in progress.
