Binghamton Police Investigate Business Robberies

Two Binghamton businesses have been robbed in recent days.

Authorities say a man who may have been armed with a handgun robbed Leroy Package Store at 64 Leroy Street on the West Side. That heist happened around 10 p.m. Friday.

About 24 hours later, a restaurant on the South Side reportedly was robbed by a knife-wielding man. The robber made off with some cash from China Star Restaurant on Vestal Avenue.

No injuries were reported in either robber.
