Binghamton Police Arrest Four Teens After Two Investigations
Four Broome County teenagers have been arrested after a pair of violent crimes in the city of Binghamton.
City police say the separate incidents happened about 90 minutes apart on Sunday night.
In the first case, a person was robbed at gunpoint at Columbus Park downtown.
That armed robbery occurred around 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
Police say 19-year-old Hajro Gledovic of Johnson City and a 15-year-old juvenile have been charged with second-degree robbery in that incident.
Just after 11:15 p.m. Sunday, an armed home invasion was reported in the First Ward.
Two intruders were said to have entered the residence on Maple Street.
Detectives say 19-year-old Marlon Singleton and 18-year-old Keshon Brown, both of Binghamton, have been charged with first-degree burglary in that case.
Investigators say some of the items stolen in the incidents have been recovered.
