People interested in the future of Binghamton will have an opportunity to learn about creative housing ideas at a program planned for next week.

The discussion is part of the Blueprint Binghamton initiative that's been launched as part of the city's comprehensive plan process.

The meeting is to be held May 2 from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Broome County Public Library on Court Street. People planning to attend must pre-register by contacting the city Economic Development Office. The number is 607.772.7161.

Several speakers are to discuss housing needs and development efforts in Binghamton.
