Gino Guler said his second Oakdale Pizza location opened for business on Friday.

The restaurant is at 47 Court Street, just south of the main entrance to the Metorcenter.

Guler has operated a pizza place in Johnson City's Oakdale Mall for several years. Workers began renovating the Binghamton property in July.

The downtown restaurant will be open until 4 a.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings. The closing time earlier in the week will be 2 a.m. It will be closed on Sundays.

Guler said about eight people are working at the new location. Some have previously worked at the Johnson City location.

The building at Court and Washington streets was designed by noted architect Isaac Perry. It was constructed in 1870.
