Binghamton Patriots Crush Ithaca in High School Football

The Binghamton Patriots showed why they won the regular season AA title in Section 4 High School Football as they clobbered visiting Ithaca 62-8 at Alumni Stadium in Binghamton this evening.  Amman Weaver was the standout for the Patriots rushing for 6 touchowns and one two-point conversion.

The win puts Binghamton's record at 7-2 while Ithaca ends its season at 1-8.  The Patriots advance to the Section 4 Class AA Championship to meet the Elmira Express next Saturday at 8PM.  Elmira shocked Corning with a 45-25 victory tonight in the other AA semi-final.  The win avenges a Corning 38 - 14 regular season victory  over Elmira.

Binghamton and Elmira meet next Saturday at Ty Cobb Stadium in Endicott at 8 PM (News Radio 1290 WNBF) to decide the Section 4 AA title with the winner advancing to the New York State Quarterfinal round.
