The Binghamton Patriots and Maine-Endwell Spartans are on a roll and both are home in Section 4 High School Football action this weekend.  Tonight, the Patriots are at Alumni Stadium hosting the Ithaca Little Red (7 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Pats are 3- 1 and have won three in a row since an opening day loss at Monroe-Woodbury.

Binghamton has speed to burn with Brian Alexander and Amman Weaver doing the bulk of the work on the ground and Quarterback Andre Yevchinecz threading the needle to a number of receivers and running the no-huddle offense as well as you will see at the high school level.

Ithaca is 1-3 with the lone win coming over Johnson City.  The Little Red have struggled as of  late against the Patriots with the Binghamton offense averaging over 45 points per game in the last 3 meetings.

Maine-Endwell has now racked up 16 wins in a row stretching back to last year's New York State Class A Championship season.  The Spartans are ranked as the number one team in Class B in the state and feature a smothering defense and an explosive offense.  The Spartans offense has been putting up an average of 27 points in the first quarter and better than 57 points per game.

The Elmira Express is 1-3 and rely primarily on the running game operating out of a double-wing formation.  Elmira will need to keep it close since their offense is geared for ball control and not putting up a bunch of points in a short span of time. Kickoff is 130 and will be broadcast live on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
