The Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study, along with the City of Binghamton are participating in a study of downtown parking issues and are seeking input from businesses, residents and visitors to the downtown district.

An online survey is posted at the BMTS website: www.bmtsonline.com and at www.binghamtonparkingsurvey.com.

Mayor Rich David has said he expects results of the survey to be available by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the parking pinch has gotten tighter with the entire top levels of the Collier Street parking garage being taken out of commission due to serious structural problems at the city-owned public parking ramp.
