Binghamton Parade-Goers Can Help CHOW Saturday At The St. Patrick’s Day Parade

CHOW, the hunger relief program of the Broome County Council of Churches, is asking for help from those attending the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Binghamton this Saturday.  CHOW will travel the parade route through downtown Binghamton prior to the 1:30 PM start of the actual parade.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade draws thousands of people to downtown Binghamton.  The parade sponsors, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, is allowing CHOW personnel to travel the parade route beginning at 1:15 PM to collect non-perishable food items and cash contributions.

All donations will remain in Broome County and will be used to help meet the need for assistance in our area.  Food donations requested include: cereal, pasta, canned items, peanut butter and baby formula.  As always please do not donate items in glass containers.  For any additional information call the CHOW office at (607) 724-9130.
