Binghamton Pair Arrested After Chase in Broome and Susquehanna Co.

Two people are being held in connection with a chase that started in Endwell and ended in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania March 12.

30 year old Derrick Svenson and 31 year old Jenifer Griffith, both of Binghamton, were arrested in Lenox Township.  The pursuit started at around 1 a.m. and may have been related to a robbery investigation according to Pennsylvania authorities.

Broome County Emergency Services officials this morning had no information about an alleged armed robbery prior to the pursuit.

Pennsylvania State Police said Svenson ran away after trying to evade troopers and spinning out.

Svenson and Griffith are charged with several traffic and drug-related charges in Pennsylvania.
