With spring just days away, some seasonal parking restrictions in the Southern Tier have expired.

The city of Binghamton's alternate side-of-the-street rules ended for the season on Saturday. They had been in force since December 1.

In the town of Owego, an overnight parking ban that had been in effect for the past four months also expired on Saturday.

Parking restrictions remain in place in some communities. For example, alternate side parking regulations in the village of Johnson City run through March 31.
