Maestro Alan Crabb is being remembered for his talent, love of music and contributions to the community.  Crabb passed away September 15 after suffering complications from heart surgery.  Crabb co-founded the Binghamton Downtown Singers and directed the massive chorus in the annual presentation of "The Messiah" at Christmas time.  Crabb, as a high school music teacher and choir director at Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church,  inspired many young and old singers to pursue their talent.  Some of us didn't even know we could sing to begin with!  Alan Crabb was 70.
