Police said a Binghamton woman and her three-month-old son were found shortly after an AMBER Alert was issued.

Authorities issued the alert shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday seeking the public's assistance in locating the boy, Lucios Mitchell.

Police said he had been forcibly taken by his mother, 26-year-old Veronica Mitchell, during a supervised visit on Chenango Street.

Officials had said Mitchell may have been heading toward Little Meadows, Pennsylvania.

Detectives said charges against Mitchell are pending.
