The Binghamton Mets and New Hampshire Fisher Cats are underway at NYSEG Stadium in the season finale for both ball clubs.  The B-Mets will get one day off before heading to Trenton to face the Thunder in the first game of their best-of-five Division Championship Series  which begins Wednesday evening.

Mark Cohoon is looking for his 10th win of the season.  He began the year as a relief pitcher after being a starter for the past several campaigns.  But before April was over Cohoon was called to take over a starting pitcher role and has responded in fine fashion.

New Hampshire will finish out of the playoffs.  The Fisher Cats start the day 18.5 games out of first place and six games in back of second-place Trenton.  They carry a record of 67-72 into today's finale.

Trenton had its last game of the season cancelled due to rain in Portland this afternoon so they get some extra time off before the post-season begins.  Both Wednesday and Thursday night games in Trenton are scheduled for 7:05 starts.  The B-Mets will host game three and if needed games four and five as well.  Friday's game at NYSEG Stadium is a 7:05 start as well.
