The Binghamton Mets will complete their suspended game from last night and then play another game tonight at NYSEG Stadium.  Rain delayed the start of last night's game with the Fisher Cats and then forced suspension of the contest in the bottom of the second inning with Binghamton leading 6-0.  Rainfall hit with such intensity that the grounds crew was only able to get the infield partially covered.  The rain on top of the tarp weighed it down enough to make it impossible to move.

The two teams will pick-up the suspended game with two outs in the Binghamton half of the second inning.  They will complete that game to nine innings.  They will then play a seven inning game to complete the night.  Binghamton and the Fisher Cats close out the series with a 10:35 AM Baseball in Education Day tomorrow morning.

Kevin Plawecki kept up his torrid hitting with five runs batted in on a double and home run in two at bats.  Airtime for today's action is 5:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF..
