riding a five-game winning streak after defeating the New Britain Rock Cats last night 4-1.  Dustin Lawley drove in a pair of runs in the eighth inning with a double to put the B-Mets up to stay.

As hot as the B-Mets have been the Portland Sea Dogs have been hotter.  Portland has won 10 games in a row and the Sea Dogs maintain a 2.5 game lead over Binghamton in the Eastern Division.  In the last dozen games the B-Mets have won ten of them.

Game one is just underway with Gabriel Ynoa getting the start for Binghamton Manager Pedro Lopez.  Hansel Robles is scheduled to start the nightcap.  Both games can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF and on wnbf.com.
