The Binghamton Mets remain alive as they faced a must-win situation today in Portland and defeated the Sea Dogs 11-4 in game four of their best-of-five Eastern Division Championship Series.  Binghamton scored three runs in the fifth inning and seven more in the sixth inning to break open the game and tie the series.  The win sets the stage for tomorrow's fifth and deciding game in Portland.  Gametime  is 1 PM with air at 12:45 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Rainy Lara started and gave up two runs on five hits over six innings of work to get the win.  Former Binghamton Bearcat Mike Augliera  was the starter and took the loss for Portland.  Augliera gave up four runs on eight hits in four innings of work.

In tomorrow's fifth and deciding game Gabriel Ynoa starts for Binghamton while Luis Diaz will be on the mound for Portland.  The winner of tomorrow's game will advance to the Eastern League Championship Series and will face the winner of the Richmond-Akron series.
