The Binghamton Mets notched a 3-1 decision over the New Britain Rock Cats tonight  to win their third straight game.  They will look for a series sweep with a 1:05 PM game Monday at NYSEG Stadium.

Travis d'Arnaud slammed a two-run home run in the third inning to put Binghamton in the lead to stay.  d'Arnaud is on rehab assignment from the New York Mets after suffering a concussion.  Angel Cuan started and got his first Double-A victory. Cody Satterwhite pitched the ninth inning to record his second save of the season.

With the win the B-Mets are assured of winning their seventh series of the season. They will host the Rock Cats tomorrow in an effort to go for the four-game sweep.  Darin Gorski will get the start for the B-Mets.  Fans can take part in a picnic before the game.  Tickets for the picnic and game entry are $15 each.
