Monday the 13 was unlucky for local baseball with the Binghamton Mets game in Erie postponed.  It will be made up as part of a doubleheader this with the first pitch scheduled for 4:35 p.m.  Air is set for 4:20 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

It was a sunny day to start in Erie but heavy rains moved into the area in the late afternoon and following an hour delay the game was officially postponed.  John Gant will start the first game for Binghamton against Erie's Warwick Saupold.  The nightcap pits Seth Lugo against Jeff Ferrell.

Following Wednesday's 12:05 game in Erie the B-Mets head home to play their first game of the season at NYSEG Stadium when they host the Harrisburg Senators Thursday at 6:35 PM. Fans who attend the game Thursday will receive a DVD documenting the B-Mets championship season.
