Binghamton baseball fans are looking ahead to September.

The B-Mets continue to roll along with an impressive record with only a few weeks left in the regular season.

Playoff tickets went on sale Friday morning. Under the announced playoff schedule, the first round for the B-Mets would start on Friday, September 6 at home.

Binghamton's opponent in the opening round remains to be determined.

B-Mets general manager Jim Weed told WNBF News that most of the initial playoff purchases have come from season ticket holders.

Weed said because the team appears poised to clinch a playoff spot early, it'll give the B-Mets more time than usual to get the word out about the availability of post-season tickets.

Box seats for playoff games will be available for $11. Tickets for children and seniors are being sold for $9.
