The Binghamton Mets and Portland Sea Dogs meet in a scheduled doubleheader beginning today at 5 PM (airtime at 4:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The twin bill is part of a six game series in four days between the two teams.     Last night the Sea Dogs edged the B-Mets 2-1 as Portland starter Brian Johnson pitched six innings giving up a run and upping his record to 3-0.  B-Met starter Darin Gorski dropped to 3-2 after giving up both Portland runs.

Following tonight's action the B-Mets and Sea Dogs meet in a single game tomorrow night at 6 PM to conclude the series.  Binghamton will return home to meet  the New Britain Rock Cats this weekend in a four-game series and then will host New Hampshire for three straight next Tuesday through Thursday at NYSEG Stadium..
