The Binghamton Mets host the Akron RubberDucks at 1:05 PM today (air at 12:50 on ESPN 1360 AM).  It is the final game in their four game series.  Last night Akron topped the B-Mets 4-2 as Binghamton was held to four hits. Josh Rodriguez hit his eighth home run of the season for Binghamton.

In today's game Rainy Lara will make his eighth start of the season and second against Akron.  Lara is 3-1 with a 3.41 ERA.  Countering for the RubberDucks is Cody Anderson who is 2-2 with a 1.93 ERA.  Entering today's game the B-Mets are five games over .500 at 24-19.  Akron is 19-24.

Today is the 14th day game of the season for Binghamton.  The B-Mets are 5-8 so far in day contests.  Following today's game the B-Mets will continue their home slate by hosting the Portland Sea Dogs for three consecutive games beginning tomorrow night at 6:35 PM.
