Binghamton Mets Look to Snap Losing Skid
The Binghamton Mets are looking to break their three-game losing streak tonight when they meet the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 6:35 (6:20 airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF) in Manchester. Last night the Fisher Cats shutout the B-Mets 5-0 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Fisher Cats.
Last night Casey Janssen started the game on a major league rehab assignment. He went one inning then gave way to Scott Copeland who went the final eight innings to shutout the B-Mets. Tonight Hansel Robles will make his fifth start of the season for the B-Mets. He'll be opposed by southpaw Matt Boyd who makes his second start for the Fisher Cats.
The three-game series concludes tomorrow with a day game. The first pitch is scheduled for 10:35. Tomorrow's game will be aired in its entirety on ESPN 1360 AM with Tim Heiman.
