Binghamton Mets Look to Rebound From Series Opening Loss

The Binghamton Mets host the Altoona Curve in the second game of their three-game series tonight at NYSEG Stadium.  Game-time is 6:35 PM with broadcast time set for 6:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Last night the Curve crushed Binghamton starter Hansel Robles for seven runs in the third inning and toppled the B-Mets 10-3.  Robles retired the first six hitters he faced before his control left him in the third inning.  Gift Ngoepe keyed the Altoona offense with a three-run home run to dead centerfield.

Tonight the B-Mets will send Greg Peavey to the mound against Joely Rodriguez.  Peavey is last week's Eastern League Pitcher of the Week after tossing a complete game 6-0 win over New Hampshire in Manchester. Peavey is 3-1 while Rodriguezis 1-3.

The series will conclude tomorrow night in another 6:35 PM start.  This is the only series the Curve plays at NYSEG Stadium this season.
