The Binghamton Mets are looking to put the Richmond Flying Squirrels in a deep hole tonight in Richmond when they meet for Game Two in the Eastern League Championship Series..  The B-Mets defeated the Flying Squirrels last night 5-2 in the opening game of the best-of-five series.

Tyler Pill gave up both Richmond runs in six innings of work to earn the win.  Brandon Nimmo went 2-5 and drove in a pair of runs to pace the B-Mets attack.  It was the third straight post-season win for Binghamton.  They won games 4 And 5 in Portland to capture the Eastern Division title.

Tonight Greg Peavey makes the start for the B-Mets.  In one start against Portland he gave up six runs (only two earned)  and eight hits in two innings.  Adalberto Mejia is the scheduled Richmond starter. He made one start against Akron in the Western Division Championship Series but did not figure in the decision.

Following tonight's game the series shifts to Binghamton for Game 3 Friday night at 7:05 at NYSEG Stadium.  Should the series go to Game 4 that would be at 7:05 Saturday night and if a Game 5 is needed that would also be in Binghamton Sunday at 6:05 PM.  All games can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
