Binghamton Mets Look To Begin Another Streak Tonight

The Binghamton Mets had their four-game winning streak snapped last night in New Britain, Connecticut as the Rock Cats topped them 9-6.  Binghamton meets the Rock Cats in game three of their four-game series tonight at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Dustin Lawley continued his torrid-hitting pace with a pair of home runs.  Hansel Robles gave up eight runs on nine hits in three innings of work and saw his record drop to 5-6.

Tonight, Tyler Pill gets the start for Binghamton.  He has upped his record to 6-5 and is coming off of a big win in his last outing, an 8-2 win over Altoona.  Pill also was 2-3 at the plate.

Heading into tonight’s game Binghamton sports a record of 49-34.  The Rock Cats are 42-39.  The B-Mets and Rock Cats will finish their series tomorrow night.  Binghamton then returns home to meet the Erie SeaWolves in a weekend series beginning on Friday night July 4th at 7:05 PM.
