The Binghamton Mets look for a road win tonight in the rubber match of their three- game series against the Altoona Curve. Game-time is 7 PM with air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF..

Last night the Curve held on for a 6-5 victory over the B-Mets.  Binghamton scored one run in the ninth but left the tying run stranded at second base to end the game.  Hansel Robles started and suffered the loss for the B-Mets.  Joely Rodriguez threw the first six innings to earn the victory.

With the win Altoona’s record goes to 21-37.  The B-Mets are now 31-26.  Binghamton sends Angel Cuan (1-2)  to the hill while Adrian Sampson (3-3) counters for Altoona.  After a week on the disabled list Dustin Lawley has returned to the lineup and has now hit safely in eight consecutive games.

Following tonight’s game the B-Mets return to NYSEG Stadium for a weekend series against New Britain.  Friday and Saturday’s games are set for 7:05 starts with Sunday’s game at 1:05.   You can catch all the action of B-Mets baseball home and away on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
