The Binghamton Mets host the Erie SeaWolves tonight at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton looks to salvage a victory after being swept in last night's doubleheader.  The SeaWolves jumped on the B-Mets for four runs in the first inning in both games and recorded 7-4 and 8-6 decisions for the sweep.

Entering tonight's single game the B-Mets are still just 1.5 games behind the first-place Portland Sea Dogs.  Portland has a record of 75-50 while the B-Mets are 72-50.  A big plus for Binghamton is that the B-Mets have three games in hand on the Sea Dogs.

21 year-old Gabriel Ynoa gets the start tonight for Binghamton.  Ynoa is 2-1 with an ERA of 4.89. Erie counters with Wilsen Palacios who is 7-4 with an ERA of 4.32.

Following tonight's game Binghamton hits the road for games in Reading and Erie.  The B-Mets return home for the last home stand of the regular season beginning August 22 against the Akron RubberDucks.
