The Binghamrton Mets lit up NYSEG Stadium tonight with Binghamton's largest Christmas Tree.  The 36-foot tall tree was turned on shortly after 6 PM.  It is located in certerfield and not far from the giant  blue "batters-eye" that towersw above the outfield wall.

The B-Mets wanted to give residents something different this Christmas season.  With Christmas carols playing over the stadium's public address system the tree gave a festive, holiday feeling to the Stadium.

Along with the Christmas Tree lighting the B-Mets decorated the concourse and walkway areas leading to their souvenir and gift shop.  Tickets are on sale for opening day in April as well as season tickets for the entire season.  Along with tickets fans were able to purchase a full-line of official gear for great souvenirs and holiday gift-giving.

The B-Mets Team Store at NYSEG Stadium will be open every day until Christmas.  Hours vary depending on the day of the week.  A listing of hours the store is open can be found on the Binghamton Mets official website at www.binghamtonmets.com.
