The Binghamton Mets begin a four-game series in Trenton tonight against the Yankees Double-A affiliate Thunder.  Last night Binghamton topped the Portland Sea Dogs in Portland 4-2 to win the final game of that series..  The B-Mets are now 4.5 games behind the Sea Dogs in the Eastern Division. Brian Burgamy continues to key the B-Mets offense with a 4-5 night at the plate.

Trenton and the B-Mets split a four-game series at NYSEG Stadium last weekend.  Going into tonight's game the B-Mets are 61-42.  Trenton is 49-56.  Tyler Pill is the B-Mets starter tonight.  He is 6-5 with a 4.04 ERA.  He faces Luis Severino who is 1-0 with an ERA of 1.80. Pill started the B-Mets versus Trenton game in Binghamton last Friday and had a no-decision as Trenton topped the B-Mets 6-4.  Severino also made a start in the last series helping his team win 6-1 on Saturday night.

The B-Mets are 26-24 playing on the road this season.  They return home to host New Britain at NYSEG Stadium Monday evening at 6:35.
