The Binghmton Mets continue their road trip tonight as they open a series in Harrisburg against the Senators.  The B-Mets have closed the gap between themselves and the first place Portland Sea Dogs.  Following a sweep of the three-game series versus Richmond the B-Mets trail Portland by three games in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.

Harrisburg is the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.  The Senators are 47-70 and in last place in the Western Division of the Eastern League.

Last night the B-Mets topped Richmond 3-0 as Jayce Boyd ripped a two-run double in the eighth inning as Hansel Robles earned the win in relief.  Brian Burgamy was 3-4 at the plate and now has hit safely in 11 consecutive games.  Matt Bowman threw six scoreless innings but did not factor in the decision.

Tonight Gabriel Ynoa makes his sixth start of the season and first against the Senators.  He is 2-0 with an ERA of 5.23.  Austin Voth counters for Harrisburg.  He is 0-2.

Tonight's game is set for a 7:00 PM start with air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Tomorrow night the teams meet at 6:00 PM with the series finale on Sunday at 2:00 PM.  Binghamton's magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 12.
