The Binghamton Mets are underway in their doubleheader in Erie.  The teams are making up last night's rainout in addition to the regularly scheduled contest.  In the first game John Gant got the start for Binghamton.  In the nightcap Seth Lugo starts for the B-Mets and Jeff Ferrell gets the nod for Erie.

Gant makes his first appearance at the Double-A level.  He pitched in High-A Savannah last season where he compiled an 11-5 record with a 2.56 ERA.  Lugo is also making his Double-A debut.  He was 8-3 with a 4.11 ERA in High-A St. Lucie last year.  Lugo was drafted in the 24th round in 2011 out of Centenary College.

The series concludes tomorrow with a 12:05 start.  That game will be aired on ESPN 1360 AM WYOS.  Binghamton plays its first home game of the 2015 campaign Thursday night at 6:35 versus Harrisburg.  Fans attending opening night will get a souvenir DVD documenting the team's 2014 Eastern League Championship.
